Ernest Thomas (Tom) Eadie

Non-Executive Chairman

Tom has over 40 years’ experience as an exploration leader and geophysicist in the resources industry. He is currently Chairman of Hawk Resources Limited and Southern Cross Gold Ltd and a Director of Pursuit Minerals.  He is the former Executive Chairman of Copper Strike, founding Chairman of Syrah Resources and Discovery Minerals, a past Director of New Century Zinc and Royalco Resources and previously Executive General Manager – Exploration and Technology at Pasminco.

Tom has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Geology and Geophysics from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Science in Physics (Geophysics) from the University of Toronto and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Security Institute of Australia. He is a past board member of the Australian Mineral Industry Research Association, a Fellow and past board member of the Australian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (AusIMM) and a Member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
